Cosmetology
1600 hrs (50 weeks at 32 hrs./week)

This course qualifies the student to practice as a Cosmetologist. Theoretical information and practical experience is provided in chemical services, hair design, cutting, facial hair, manicuring and esthetics. The physical demands of Cosmetology include significant standing, sitting, bending, and the use of hands and arms.

The barbering course includes the practical experience of cutting and styling men’s, women and children’s hair. The course also provides a theoretical basis for the barbering career. As a barber the professional will experience a great deal of standing for long lengths of time and the consistent, repetitive use of hands and arms.

Esthetician performing a variety of skin care services for the public. As an esthetician you will work a great deal of the time sitting and/or standing with the additional need for significant upper body strength.

The manicurist will be able to perform manicures, pedicures and work with artificial nail techniques and nail art. The performance of this work requires a great deal of sitting and the repetitive use of hands.

Hair Stylist/Designer performs a variety of services in hair design, cutting, facial hair chemical services, hairstyling, hair shaping, scalp, hair conditioning, and barbering. Please note this is very similar to Cosmetology, however esthetics and nails are not covered.

Admissions Requirements
Must be 17 years of age.
Must completed the Application for Addmissions.
Must complete a Face-to-Face interview with the Owner/Director.
Must complete the Finacial Plan for the selected program.
For admissions into the Instructor Program applicant must have acurrent Washington State License issued in Cosmetology or in the applicable course they would like to instruct.

Complete Face-to-Face Interview with the Owner/Director.

What Should You Expect
All applications are reviewed for completeness and quality.
School enrollment and capacity is reviewed
Students accepted, based on vacancies, and the prospective start date.
Students not accepted are placed on a waiting list for future vacancies.
Students are notified by phone as to their status.
Notes
Enrollees will pay a registration fee as part of the Admissions Application. Please note that this is (Non-Refundable).
Chromebooks are required if a replacement it is needed it is $200 fee. Must be paid in full at time of order.
First months scheduled payment is due the 1st day of student attends class.
Books, Equipement are also (Non-Refundable)
Refresher hours are billed at $10.00 per hour.
